When LeBron James decided to leave Cleveland (the first time) and take his talents to South Beach, he said that he wanted to do "what was best for LeBron James and what LeBron James was going to do to make him happy."
Who talks like that? His third-person references sounded weird and egotistical.
It turns out that he may be on to something.
Research indicates that talking about ourselves in the third person can help us remain rational when trying to make a decision.
Today's gospel reading makes reference to the Queen of Sheba traveling great distances to hear the wisdom of King Solomon.
His wisdom was legendary — at least when it concerned other people. He wasn't as great at making personal decisions.
Perhaps King Solomon could have learned something from King James.
