Bitter or Better?
Even the most difficult moments could be fertilizer for growth.
There are multiple ways of looking at a situation. Some are more helpful than others.
Life often presents us with challenges that leave a sour taste in our mouths, but we sometimes linger on that bitterness far longer than necessary.
Interestingly, the intensity of people's anger often bears little relation to the magnitude of their suffering. After a certain age, we've all amassed enough heartache to fill a novel. But not everyone chooses to become the author of their own tragedy.
Some people don't just weather the storm; they harness its energy. For them, trauma isn't a full stop, but an ellipsis leading to a new chapter of growth.
We can't change our past, but we can look for the lessons in what has passed.
The circumstances that lead some to become bitter are what lead others to become better.
